This is our bathroom.. Notice all of the white and pink, yes I said pink floors. I actually don't mind the floors because they are original to the apartment which dates back to the 1950's.
Well folks this is all the cabinet space we have! I like the cabinet but I'm going to replace the knobs. Its just a little to white for my taste.
Obviously the bathtub. Its just your basic run of the mill type. It does have a little bit of storage if you have shampoo and conditioner that is itty bitty :)
Here is the other side of the bath/shower. We already replaced the shower head with a new rain shower type. I love this shower head and it was so easy to install! My biggest complaint with this shower is that I don't have a place to put a shower caddy for my toiletries so I'm going to have to get creative!
This is my absolute favorite part of my bathroom! Can you imagine candles or even a nice little green plant here!
Everything is going to be bounced off this color palette. Doesn't it invoke a nice soothing bath when all the kids are in bed?! I have had this shower curtain for about 4 years now and I love, love love it!
Well that's my bathroom and I'm sticking to it!(well not like I have a choice lol) So are you as excited as I am about how is going to look!!

Ryan,
ReplyDeleteLike the color pallette. Have you ever been to St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota? There's a store there that has all kinds of seashell/type decorations -- soaps, etc. and everything is in the color pallette that you have chosen.
If you want to add more storage space to your bathroom, I'd suggest going to BBB (Bed Bath Beyond) and getting one of those stainless steel shower organizers. The unit can be placed in corner edge of tub to ceiling, and you'd gain at least 4 corner shelves worth of storage.
I have one in my large walk in shower, an love it. It even has arms to hang sponges/facecloths, and a razor holder. It isn't "permanent", so you can take it with you when you leave.

I have not been to sarastoa yet. There is a place that i heard on the news called sponge dock. I belive its up by clearwater or new port richy. They harvest sea sponges and things of that nature. I really want to go up there and take a look. That place in sarasota sounds great too. I loe doing that sort of stuff especilly if it supports local buinesses!
